Happy Birthday Lisa From the Future!

Today is Lisa’s Birthday.  Happy birthday Lisa….she texted us at 3:30 this morning so Alan called to wish her a happy birthday from the future. 

We walk to town down the path out of the campground, along Showdown Park, past the horse paddocks, across the river bridge and into the town. 

The jacaranda trees are beautiful with their amazing purple flowers as we walk past them with their blanket of petals neatly spread on the ground underneath. 

Big Banana

Coffee was at an interesting café where they overlook the street and shops below. It is a vintage café with lovely decor. Our lattes were perfect and so was the GF orange almond cake!

We tour the local hot spot, the Big Banana. Alan has a banana split here!



Bubble Crabs

Then we head to the jetty and stop first at the pier, talk with couple on the way out.  Then we head to the jetty, spot a turtle in the bay.

Then we head to the river where we see these large groups of Eagle rays swimming in the river.
After supper we catch up on logs, blogs and emails. Oh and let’s not forget the rug hooking!
